Job summary

Wendy's International is seeking a Product Owner for Finance Systems to lead a small team, own and prioritize the product backlog, and translate business needs into clear requirements across enterprise finance platforms like Looker, Oracle, and BlackLine.

The ideal candidate will balance strategic roadmap priorities with day-to-day needs, coach talent, and collaborate with business, technology, vendor, and support teams to deliver enhanced financial processes, controls, reporting, and user

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in finance-related field.
5+ years of experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Tax, or related systems.
Experience with enterprise finance platforms (Oracle ERP/EPM, BlackLine, Looker).
Knowledge of Agile product delivery; Product Owner certification preferred.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Own sprint backlog and prioritize initiatives to align with the roadmap.
Develop business cases and perform competitive analysis to guide roadmap.
Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Lead relationships with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams across technology, vendors, and support.
Monitor incidents and ensure readiness of product support and adoption post-launch.
Lead product introductions, releases, demos, and stakeholder checkpoints to communicate changes.
