Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, a leading renewable energy company, seeks a hands-on product leader to own a portfolio of decision-support products within the Transformation Office. You will bridge Business Management, PGD, Operations and Finance with data science and engineering teams, turning business intent into precise requirements and driving adoption across the organization.

You will manage multiple workstreams, write actionable user stories, and ensure clear ownership, timelines and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in technical or data product management, product ownership, analytics delivery leadership, technical program management, or a comparable role translating business needs into analytics and software builds.
• Demonstrated ownership of at least one analytics, optimization, forecasting or decision-support product with measurable outcomes.
• Technical fluency to discuss objective functions, data pipelines, data quality and trade-offs between accuracy, speed and usability.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned decision-support products, from problem definition through requirements, build, pilot and production release.
• Translate business objectives into technical requirements; write user stories, acceptance criteria and data definitions used by data scientists and engineers.
• Act as conduit between business and technical teams; elicit real needs and ensure fidelity in builds.
• Drive execution across multiple workstreams; manage plan, milestones, dependencies, risks and escalation.
• Maintain executive-ready status updates and decision logs for varied audiences.
