Job summary

BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) is seeking a Product Owner to lead NPI for HVAC capital equipment in a global matrix organization. You will translate customer needs into clear product requirements and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing to deliver new products on time and to spec.

Responsibilities include analyzing feedback, prioritizing the backlog, and developing go-to-market strategies while partnering with Platform Managers and Global Marketing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B capital equipment industries such as HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial markets.
• 3+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Advanced Applications for capital equipment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Global environment experience desirable.
• Degree in a technical or science field.
• Strong analytical capabilities with data analysis and synthesis.
• Solid project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer feedback and translate into product requirements.
• Gather customer feedback (warranty, NPS, surveys, VOC) and present opportunities.
• Coordinate findings with Product Management and align with goals.
• Collaborate with Platform Managers to define strategic vision and business cases.
• Oversee all stages of NPI and liaise with Marketing to deliver updates.
• Bring new products to market on-time, on spec and within budget.
• Provide product expertise on competitors’ solutions to meet customer needs.
• Prioritize backlog based on changing market conditions.
• Participate in all Scrum meetings and product sprints in NPI stages.
• Develop go-to-market strategy to gain competitive advantage.
