Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join the Cat Digital Direct to Customer team. You will shape digital experiences that enable awareness, purchase and adoption of VisionLink subscriptions for fleets.

Collaborate with business partners and engineering to translate user needs into requirements and roadmaps, guiding cross-product initiatives with a focus on customer value.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the decision-making process and tools; ability to analyze situations and decide based on informed judgment.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts and techniques; transmit and interpret ideas clearly.
• Knowledge of software product business; manage install base, uses, and product vision.
• Knowledge of software product management; break down requirements into features and functionalities.
• Knowledge of UAT activities and tools; experience with agile tools like Aha, ProductBoard, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Team Services, Rally.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the value of the product and backlog in partnership with engineering.
• Provide vision and domain knowledge aligned with Cat’s goals and customer value.
• Take ownership for success and quality of your product.
• Lead cross-product initiatives with roadmaps and epics for high-value outcomes.
• Coordinate roadmaps and experiences across dependent product teams.
