Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC seeks a Product Owner in a SAFe environment to balance business, technology and design priorities and translate product vision into epics and features for delivery teams.

You will lead backlog management, collaborate with Product Managers, and work with technical leads to ensure solutions address experience priorities while maintaining technical integrity. Stakeholder alignment and agile delivery are key.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, design, or technology
Five+ years in banking, financial services, digital, or relevant work experience
Three+ years product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience
Three+ years leading cross-functional teams
Experience defining and delivering digital initiatives to execute a product roadmap
Ability to translate strategic plans into tactical daily actions
Experience working with technology to align roadmaps
Capability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
Comfort with ambiguity and autonomous decision-making
Strong presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills
Preferred: SAFe Product Owner/PM certification
Preferred: payments domain experience
Willingness to work at Truist offices in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities

Lead delivery team priorities in PI and sprint planning and other agile ceremonies.
Articulate product strategy to the delivery team in partnership with product managers.
Design new products and improvements by collaborating with delivery, experience design, business, and operations.
Own and maintain the team backlog of user stories and serve as a subject matter expert on features.
Triages critical issues and communicates with all stakeholders.
Serve as a primary resource to the development team for questions and clarifications.
Update leadership on epic and feature delivery schedules and dependencies.
Collaborate with solution architects to balance client experience and technical integrity.
Facilitate sprint planning and demos to ensure alignment with the roadmap.
Create release-related business documents and ensure go/no-go approvals.
Manage risk and ensure PM lifecycle processes are followed; gather evidence to support recommendations.
