Job summary

Truist is seeking a Product Owner to partner with Product Managers, translating vision into epics and features within a Scaled Agile environment. You will manage backlogs, collaborate with delivery, design, and operations, and ensure tactical execution aligns with the product roadmap and enterprise themes.

You will lead agile ceremonies, triage issues, and provide clear updates to leadership while balancing client experience with technical integrity across the platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in banking, financial services, digital, or related fields.
• 3+ years in product, analysis, technology, and/or design.
• 3+ years of cross-functional team leadership.
• Experience translating strategy into tactical actions and roadmaps.
• Ability to work with technology orgs to align product and tech roadmaps.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery team priorities in PI and sprint planning within SAFe frameworks.
• Align product strategy with delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Deliver new experiences by partnering with delivery, design, business, and operations.
• Own and maintain the team's backlog of user stories and features.
• Coordinate triage on critical issues and communicate with all parties.
• Answer questions, provide clarifications, and validate business needs.
• Report epic/feature delivery status and dependencies with suggested mitigations.
• Collaborate with solution architects to balance client experience and technical integrity.
• Facilitate sprint planning and demos; ensure acceptance criteria and DoD.
• Create release documents and support models; manage go/no-go approvals.
• Ensure PML processes are followed, supporting security, risk, and audits.
