Job summary

Truist is seeking a Product Owner within a Scaled Agile environment to partner with product managers and balance business, technology, and design priorities. You will translate vision into stories and work with delivery teams to ensure tactical execution, with a focus on credit risk frameworks and governance.

You will lead agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and coordinate with architects to align with program priorities while maintaining enterprise themes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field.
• Five or more years of banking, financial services, digital, or other relevant work experience.
• Three or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience.
• Three or more years of leading cross functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and trends.
• Excellent skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery team’s priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies.
• Align with product managers to articulate product strategy to the delivery team.
• Deliver new experiences with delivery, experience design, business, and operations partners.
• Author and maintain the team’s backlog of user stories.
• Coordinate business validation and ensure fitness for use.
• Update leadership on epic and feature delivery schedules and dependencies.
• Partner with solution architects to balance client experience and technical integrity.
• Facilitate sprint planning and demos; ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Create release-specific business documents and living release notes.
• Ensure PML processes are followed and risks are managed.
