Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in the U.S. seeks a Product Owner to join a scaled Agile environment, partnering with product managers to balance business, technology and design priorities.

You will translate the product vision into stories and guide delivery teams to ensure tactical execution with a focus on user experience and technical integrity. You will lead PI and sprint planning, align with stakeholders on strategy, and drive the release process while ensuring governance and risk controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design or technology field or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Five+ years in banking, financial services, digital, or related work.
• Three+ years in product, analysis, technology, or design.
• Three+ years of leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience defining digital initiatives and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery priorities in PI and sprint planning within agile ceremonies.
• Articulate product strategy with the delivery team and stakeholders.
• Design new products by collaborating with business, operations and design partners.
• Maintain the team backlog with user stories and domain expertise.
• Triage critical issues and communicate with all stakeholders.
• Provide business validation and ensure fitness for use.
• Update leadership on epic/feature delivery and dependencies.
• Coordinate with architects to align solutions with program priorities.
• Drive sprint demos and final acceptance of stories.
• Create release documents and go/no-go approvals.
• Follow PML processes and manage risk with guidance from product management.
