Job summary

Truist is seeking a Product Owner to partner with product managers in a Scaled Agile Framework, translating vision into actionable user stories for delivery teams. You’ll work on commercial credit risk rating processes, PD/LGD concepts, and risk scoring models while guiding tactical execution and sprint ceremonies.

Office-based role with options in Charlotte, Raleigh, Richmond, or Atlanta. Requires experience in digital banking, product ownership, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, or technology
• Five+ years in banking/financial services/digital
• Three+ years in product, analysis, technology, or design
• Three+ years of leading cross-functional teams
• Experience defining and delivering digital business initiatives
• Technical acumen to align product and tech roadmaps
• Ability to translate strategic plans into tactical actions
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Comfort with ambiguity and autonomous decision-making
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery team priorities in PI and sprint planning
• Articulate product strategy to the delivery team
• Design new products and improvements with cross-functional partners
• Maintain the team backlog and define features
• Coordinate business validation and acceptance
• Support release planning and documentation
• Manage risk and ensure adherence to PML processes
• Collaborate with solution architects to balance client experience and technical integrity
• Conduct sprint demos and obtain acceptance for stories
• Coordinate release-specific documents and governance
