Job summary

Mindex is seeking a Product Owner for our Advanced Analytics offering in the United States. You will align with agile teams to build data products for school districts and education service agencies, shaping data lakes, reports, dashboards, and AI-driven capabilities.

You will partner with other Product Owners to support analytics and reporting needs, leveraging data platforms at scale and applying an AI-first mindset. Occasional in-person collaboration near Rochester, NY is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as Product Owner focusing on data platforms and analytics.
• Experience with PK-12 data domains and Ed-Fi is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and customer-focused mindset.
• Experience creating epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Translate vision into actionable product plans with the Product Director.
• Identify and prioritize customer needs, document them as epics with requirements and acceptance criteria, and work with Engineering and UX to break them into features.
• Validate that solutions deliver impact against epics and goals, coordinating with docs, training, support, and marketing for release.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and feedback, reshaping priorities to maximize customer value.
• Serve as a product SME for service, sales, and marketing, representing SchoolTool at User Groups and Conferences.
• Facilitate retrospectives and drive improvements to processes and tooling for efficiency.
