Job summary

PowerSchool Group LLC is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Metrics & Analytics Experience. You will own the analytics strategy, moving from dashboard-first navigation to a metrics-centered experience, enabling districts to define, monitor, benchmark, and act on key measures.

Collaborate across data platform, semantic layer, and AI teams to deliver trusted, actionable insights. You will partner with engineering, design, data science, customer success, services, and sales to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience in SaaS, analytics, data products, or education technology.
• Strong understanding of analytics UX, dashboards, metric design, and self-service analytics patterns.
• Experience defining metric requirements and semantic-layer dependencies with engineering or data teams.
• Ability to translate complex data and workflows into simple, high-value product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the product vision for a metrics-centered Analytics & Insights experience.
• Evolve the product from dashboards to metric pages, catalogs, and guided exploration.
• Modernize dashboards, out-of-the-box analytics, reporting workflows, and analytics tasks.
• Prioritize analytics improvements using customer feedback, usage data, and competitive signals.
• Shape requirements for metric definitions, calculation logic, data quality, and cross-domain experiences.
• Embed explanations, automated insights, and AI-enabled recommendations to drive action.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, customer success, services, support, sales, and marketing.
• Lead discovery, requirements, prioritization, launch readiness, and post-launch measurement.
