Job description

Spectrum Search is partnered with a well-backed AI technology company seeking a Product Marketing Manager to help enterprise customers turn product capabilities into measurable business value.

About the opportunity

The company develops software that helps marketing teams understand performance, interpret data and make better decisions. Working across AI and enterprise software, the team is building products for established business customers.

This opportunity offers ownership of customer-facing product messaging, with a particular focus on activation, adoption, retention and expansion. It combines strategic positioning with hands-on content creation and close collaboration across Product, Engineering and Customer Success.

The role

The Product Marketing Manager will translate technical capabilities into clear, practical narratives that help customers understand what the product does and how to use it effectively.

Working across the customer lifecycle, the role will shape onboarding content, support feature launches and equip Customer Success teams to communicate value. Success will be measured through customer engagement and product usage, alongside the effectiveness of launch and enablement activity.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that supports onboarding, adoption, renewal and account expansion.
  • Create enablement decks, onboarding guides, product playbooks and feature training materials.
  • Equip Customer Success teams with quarterly business review narratives, expansion messaging and objection-handling content.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to understand upcoming releases and translate technical functionality into clear customer benefits.
  • Co-own go-to-market plans for new products and features, with a focus on adoption within existing accounts.
  • Develop release communications, webinar content and customer case studies.
  • Gather feedback from customer-facing teams, identify recurring questions and communicate insights to Product.
  • Track the impact of launches and content on adoption and retention, using findings to improve future activity.
  • Demonstrable product marketing experience within a B2B software-as-a-service startup.
  • A track record of independently producing clear, persuasive customer-facing content and enablement materials.
  • Experience supporting the customer lifecycle beyond acquisition, including activation, adoption, retention or expansion.
  • Ability to understand technical products and explain concepts such as application programming interfaces, data pipelines and large language models to business audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical and commercial teams.
  • Analytical judgement and the ability to connect marketing activity with customer behaviour and business outcomes.
  • Confidence managing projects from initial brief through delivery and evaluation.
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience partnering directly with Customer Success or other post-sale teams.
  • Background in marketing technology, analytics or AI software.
  • Experience developing customer education programmes or supporting product launches within an existing customer base.
