Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a results-driven engineer to advance complex product structures. You will develop, implement, and release new BOMs for modules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.

You will lead OMS development, perform 3D virtual analysis (MLO/DMU) and participate in design reviews to drive cost, quality, and cycle time improvements. You will also manage change control processes and RCCA.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and releases new product BOMs for complex modules and product structures.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
Manages the development and validation of Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex modules.
Performs 3D solid model virtual analysis, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock Up (DMU); contributes to design reviews with feedback on DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and efficiency improvements.
Orchestrates change requests and executes change control processes including NSRs, ECOs, CCB, SPSs, and ESWs.
Documents product-related issues and performs RCCA; leads LTCA disposition for projects.
Leads the managed build process for programs/projects.
Provides technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources, including part suppliers related to new product introductions.
May perform other duties as assigned.
