Job summary

athenahealth, based in Boston, MA, seeks a Product Manager to guide development and delivery for Value Based Care practices in athenaCollector. You will translate complex healthcare operations into actionable experiences and scale our platform through modernization.

You will energize cross-functional teams, use data to prioritize solutions, and make tough trade-offs while focusing on outcomes. This is a hybrid role with one day/week in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required.
• Strong understanding of Value Based Care, ambulatory practice operations, healthcare revenue cycle, and health IT systems is required.
• 5+ years overall professional experience; 2-4 years of formal product management experience, or related experience, preferred.
• Understanding of product management best practices, including agile development.
• Demonstrated success at driving innovation in a dynamic environment using analytic and/or AI capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to frame problems and potential solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap and prioritization of customer needs for Value Based Care practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, UX, analytics, product operations, and other teams.
• Create clear product requirement documentation articulating business requirements, including UX/CX/Support needs.
• Understand market opportunities, user needs, and applicable business models for clients today and in the future.
• Identify and track metrics to create transparency and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Product Management leaders to drive product decisions.
