Job summary

Perplexity seeks a Product Manager to own the SMB design partner program end-to-end, recruit partners, and build first-party skill packs. You will translate partner feedback into a prioritized roadmap and work with partnerships, product, and growth marketing to drive measurable revenue outcomes.

The role requires strong writing and communication, SQL proficiency, and a bias for action in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years total work experience with a strong academic record.
• 2 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or a comparable high-intensity analytical role, followed by operating experience.
• You’ve run or worked closely with real marketing workflows: paid social, lifecycle, CRO, or SEO.
• You already use agents to do real work and are comfortable writing prompts, skills, and building end-to-end automation systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable working with a founder or head of marketing.
• Comfortable with SQL and reading dashboards; capable of pulling cohorts.
• Operates at high velocity; ships daily and iterates weekly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the SMB design partner program end to end.
• Recruit and onboard design partners; define profiles and metrics.
• Build and iterate on first-party skill packs.
• Turn partner feedback into a prioritized roadmap; write specs for connectors and capabilities teams.
• Drive end-to-end case studies with partnerships, product, and growth marketing.
• Expand usage for SMB operators via onboarding, lifecycle and in-product recommendations.
