Perplexity in New York is seeking a Product Manager to partner with design and engineering, focusing on product systems that help more SMBs discover and adopt Perplexity's agent capabilities.

You will turn customer learnings into requirements for connectors and agent capabilities, and drive acquisition and usage through demos, case studies, and lifecycle programs.

The role requires strong writing, analytical rigor, and comfort with SQL, shipping daily in a fast‑paced early‑stage environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of total work experience with a strong academic record.
• 2 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or a comparable high‑intensity analytical role, followed by some operating experience.
• You've run, or worked closely alongside, real marketing workflows: paid social, lifecycle, CRO, or SEO. You know what "great" looks like to an operator.
• You already use agents to automate complex processes and are comfortable writing prompts, skills, and building end‑to‑end agent systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable running a working relationship with customers.
• Comfortable with SQL. You can pull your own cohorts, validate your own segments, and build your own dashboard & reporting systems.
• Operates at high velocity. You ship daily and thrive in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments where processes are still being defined.

Responsibilities

• Work with select SMB customers to build and test frontier agent capabilities that run their revenue-generating workflows.
• Prioritize the highest-value workflows to automate and build the skills, evals, and agent systems that make them reliable and performant.
• Turn customer learnings into product requirements for connectors, skills, and agent capabilities, and partner with cross‑functional product teams to build.
• Drive SMB acquisition through personalized demos, case studies, and paid and lifecycle channels, measured on acquisition targets and CAC.
• Drive usage expansion across our existing SMB base through personalized onboarding, lifecycle, and product growth levers.
• Work with partnerships and growth marketing teams to design, execute, and package customer case studies to distribute across paid, organic, and partner channels.
