Job summary

Velera seeks a Product Manager to own tactical product management for Velera products and services. You will liaise with customers, define market release processes, and bridge gaps across functions to align strategic teams.

You will oversee requirements, collaborate with Training, Operations, IT, Finance, and Administration, and drive product definitions and goals responsive to end-user needs. Experience in financial services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Combined four (4) years of product management, technical product implementations, and/or business systems analysis supporting technical products experience required.
• Experience with the financial, credit union industry and core or account processing required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and review product enhancement requests from various sources and oversee the creation of business requirements for these enhancements.
• Serve as an escalation point, both internally and externally, related to assigned products and applications.
• Collaborate with Training, Operations, IT, Administration, and Finance to develop product definitions, objectives, and goals.
• Work with Velera’s departments to execute product strategies on assigned products and services.
• Identify risks during feasibility studies and development; communicate issues to senior management; develop market test scenarios and secure user approval for rollout.
• Develop product documentation, procedures, and training across platforms.
