Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a Product Manager to support the strategic growth and lifecycle management of our fiber optic ferrule product line. You will act as a liaison across Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive product innovation and market performance.

The role requires a mechanical engineering foundation to support design, manufacturing processes, and commercialization activities, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; other engineering disciplines considered with relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of product management, product development, technical marketing, engineering, or related commercial experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends, sales performance, and business opportunities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned products, markets, and applications, focusing on mechanical design, tolerances, and materials.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and present reports on product performance, demand forecasts, and market opportunities.
• Manage new product development from concept through production, applying mechanical engineering principles.
• Gather customer and market requirements to identify new product opportunities and portfolio enhancements.
• Develop product launch and release plans for market introduction and readiness.
• Support supplier and contract manufacturer qualification activities and production readiness.
• Monitor forecasts and manufacturing requirements to ensure supply continuity.
