Job summary

Grata, part of Datasite, is seeking a Product Manager to own Derived Intelligence—datasets, scores, and signals built atop private-company data. You will define product measurements, work with data science to validate models, and package results into the Grata platform and MCP tooling.

The role blends analytical rigor with creativity, requiring customer obsession, ownership, and strong collaboration across data science, ML, engineering, design, and commercial teams. Hybrid NYC-based

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong data fluency: comfortable in SQL and able to analyze data.
• Experience shipping data products where data is the product.
• Experience partnering with data scientists on predictive/statistical models.
• Track record of finding valuable products inside existing datasets.
• Comfort with data quality: coverage, precision/recall, entity resolution.
• Ability to influence across levels of an organization.
• Experience in startup or high-ambiguity environments.
• Interest in an office-centric culture with flexible work environment.
• Domain knowledge of private capital markets (M&A, PE, investment banking).
• Bonus: background as data scientist/analyst/engineer.
• Bonus: experience with LLM-based extraction pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the Derived Intelligence roadmap: select datasets, scores, and signals to build and impact customers and business goals.
• Partner with data scientists on models, framing problems, defining labels and evaluation.
• Identify new product opportunities across Grata, Datasite, and the Datasite family.
• Define and defend metric definitions for scores and signals.
• Build understanding of dealmaker workflows through user research and data analysis.
• Develop strategic roadmaps with milestones and measurable metrics.
• Collaborate across data science, ML, design, engineering, and product marketing to ship the roadmap.
• Prioritize initiatives with a customer-centric, data-driven approach.
• Craft detailed requirements from customer conversations and usage data.
• Establish yourself as go-to expert for the product area and communicate with executives.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
