Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Product Manager in Columbia to act as product owner for one or more technology products. You will define strategy, track performance, and shape user experience in partnership with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data technology, business, or applicable area.
  • 4 years analytics and optimization skills to inform product planning and prioritization.
  • Experience working with design and engineering to deliver customer-facing features.
  • Roadmapping, backlog drafting, and balancing competing needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3+ years in a technology product environment delivering complex products.
  • Data analysis to justify product selections and derive insights.
  • Enterprise concepts and practices to achieve outcome-driven results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Agile development practices, methodologies, and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with enterprise stakeholders on problem definition and KPIs for features.
  • Create user stories/requirements, discover ROI, and lead backlog prioritization.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and cross-functional teams to guide engagements.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple deliverables and projects.
  • Own one or more sub-products or product lines.
  • Define UX goals, KPIs, and sizing plans independently.
  • Perform data-driven feature readouts and identify proxy metrics.
  • Manage trade-offs on scope, resources, and timeline for features.
  • Ensure execution of small to medium improvements aligned with business desires.
  • Communicate product updates to executives and teams.
  • Support teammates with knowledge and collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and plan innovative features.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering to scope roadmap items.
  • Work with ops to refine requirements and address technical debt.
