Job summary

Starbucks seeks a Product Manager Principal to own end-to-end value delivery for one or more virtual products. This role leads cross-functional teams to define strategy, roadmap, and user flows, while ensuring performance, usability, and accessibility across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related subject.
• Demonstrated ability to apply analytics and optimization tools to inform product planning and prioritization (5+ years).
• Established capability to work with design and engineering to deliver customer-facing features (5+ years).
• Experience in writing user stories and coordinating conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple stakeholders (7+ years).
• Experience with product delivery and release in an agile environment (3 years).
• Enterprise experience in technology with a track record of delivering complex products (10+ years).

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders on problem definition and alignment with commercial goals, UX desires and KPI goals.
• Define and build the product strategy and roadmap, influencing teams and leaders to gain alignment.
• Create user flows and reports for product insight.
• Direct non-functional requirements such as performance, usability, accessibility, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Possibly arrange demos and RFIs for supplier responses; select solutions; align with cross-functional groups.
• Determine technical feasibility, dependencies, and constraints of features with guidance from adjacent tech teams.
• Support and influence across levels to position and ship multi-deliverable initiatives.
• Coordinate sizing and roadmaps with stakeholders; communicate at steering committee level.
• Lead tradeoff discussions with decision-makers; align on roadmap priorities.
