AWeber is seeking a strategic, data-driven Product Manager to join our Conversions team. This role focuses on turning trial users into long-term, paying customers, combining growth-focused product development with hands-on financial systems ownership.

The ideal candidate is passionate about user acquisition and onboarding optimization, with experience in finance and accounting, especially with subscription billing systems like Stripe. You'll manage and enhance our payment infrastructure, reduce churn, improve revenue capture, and ensure a seamless first financial interaction for users.

Job Responsibilities

1. Identify and execute opportunities to increase revenue, reduce churn, and enhance lifetime value through improved billing experiences.
2. Own and evolve our payment and billing infrastructure, focusing on minimizing failed payments and optimizing subscription workflows.
3. Collaborate with finance, engineering, and support teams to ensure our payment systems are accurate, reliable, and audit-ready.
4. Lead initiatives across onboarding and activation, using experimentation and A/B testing to improve conversion rates.
5. Analyze and report on key performance metrics like conversion rate, trial-to-paid upgrades, churn, and payment success rates.
6. Conduct competitive research and user feedback analysis to uncover new opportunities and validate roadmap priorities.
7. Work with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features from discovery through launch and iteration.

Skills And Experience

• 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, focusing on growth, billing, and financial systems.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and subscription lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Stripe or other subscription billing platforms.
• Proven track record of owning product strategy and driving measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills; experience with tools like Google Analytics, Posthog, Fullstory, Stripe, etc.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to influence stakeholders across departments.
• Experience with A/B testing tools like VWO, Amplitude, interpreting data, and balancing customer value with business results.
• Ability to simplify complex problems into intuitive product experiences, especially for onboarding and payments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
