Job summary

OrePac Building Products seeks a Product Manager in Spokane, WA. The role focuses on educating the distribution chain about building materials, managing inventory, and maintaining relationships with large accounts while driving demand among contractors, dealers, distributors, and key market influencers.

The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented with strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in a supply chain or related position with product line oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred but not required).
• Ability to travel throughout the local market area two to three days per week.
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Strong business acumen with sales knowledge of current industry trends.
• Customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sources of supply to obtain the most economical purchases.
• Finalize and issue purchase orders to vendors for designated product lines; review order details.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and place orders to OrePac’s best advantage.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing, pricing, and deliveries.
• Develop and maintain catalog price pages; collaborate with Corporate Pricing.
• Provide product information to staff and support inventory and sales requirements.
• Communicate regional marketing opportunities with the Sales Manager.
• Develop forecasts and provide regular projections to Corporate Supply Chain.
• Maintain knowledge of the local market and share competitive insights with the Sales Manager.
• Train Authorized Dealer network and support channel relationships.
