Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Product Manager for Claude Science to own a major area of the roadmap end to end. You will work closely with researchers to expand into new scientific fields, add model capabilities, and prepare the workbench for enterprise R&D environments.

You will interact with academic labs, biotech, pharma R&D, and research institutes to translate findings into shipped product. We value candidates who thrive in ambiguity, build meaningful workflows, and balance research

Qualifications

• Have product management experience delivering technical products in close partnership with engineering and design.
• Have a scientific or technical background to reason with domain experts about workflows and model behavior.
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM concepts and ability to evaluate models and prompts.
• Data-driven prioritization using usage data, eval results, and real user feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, and roadmap for a major Claude Science area.
• Synthesize insights from researcher interviews into clear priorities and success metrics.
• Collaborate with research to define model behaviors and evaluation methods.
• Lead end-to-end launches with cross-functional teams (research, engineering, design, GTM).
• Identify scientific domains, data sources, tools, and integrations to support next.
• Prototype ideas with Claude to validate before engineering work.
• Coordinate with safeguards, security, and enterprise teams for trusted deployment.
• Drive enterprise readiness including security and deployment controls.
