Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Digital Product Manager in Hoover, AL (Partial Remote) to lead discovery, development, and performance of digital initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders to optimize customer experiences by collecting, analyzing, and reporting key metrics.

The role requires building business cases, guiding cross-functional teams, and delivering presentations to senior leadership while driving growth and innovation in our digital banking products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with related experience in digital banking, product management, or financial services.
  • Experience with Agile or project delivery methodologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define long-term strategy, roadmaps, and expansion of digital products.
  • Analyze usage, sales, fraud, and other metrics to forecast trends.
  • Lead research and propose data-driven ideas to improve customer journeys.
  • Own the customer journey for a digital product or capability.
  • Build lean business cases and secure prioritization through governance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for senior leadership.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with products/capabilities.
  • Collaborate across digital channel owners, UX, business, and tech teams.
  • Guide front-line teams on sales or service tools.
  • Mentor colleagues within the department.

Product Manager

Location

Hoover, Alabama (Partial Remote)

Role Overview

The Digital Product Manager leads the discovery, development, and performance of digital initiatives, capabilities, and/or products. This role will partner with internal stakeholders to address complex business issues and opportunities to optimize the customer’s experience with digital offerings. Associates will do this by collecting, analyzing, managing, and reporting on key customer, production, and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defines and owns the long-term strategy, roadmap, and expansion of specified digital products and/or capabilities.
  • Manages performance information such as usage, sales, fraud, and other key information to provide forecasts and market evolution insights.
  • Guides other associates to create meaningful research and propose data-driven ideas to close customer experience gaps in customer journeys.
  • Owns the customer journey for a specific digital product and/or capability.
  • Quantifies investments in digital products and/or capabilities by creating agile lean business cases, communicating the value of those investments to stakeholders, gaining buy-in, and securing prioritization through governance processes.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations for senior leadership.
  • Identifies and manages both existing and emerging risks associated with an assigned digital product and/or capability.
  • Teams effectively in a matrixed organization of digital channel owners, UX leaders, business leaders, and technology associates to advocate for the customer and ensure the execution of strategic goals.
  • Prepares and/or provides guidance for front line associates about sales or service tools.
  • Leads and mentors others within the department.
Required Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of related experience in digital banking, digital product management, business case development, or financial services OR a High School Diploma/GED and eleven (11) years of related experience in digital banking, digital product management, business case development, financial services, or business requirements/analysis.

Experience

Familiarity or working knowledge of project management and/or software delivery methodologies (i.e., Agile).

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist or Product Owner/Manager certification.
  • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), or Consumer Due Diligence (CDD) experience.
