Job summary

Adobe Inc. is seeking a talented attorney to join the Acrobat legal team. You will counsel product and business teams on GenAI, licensing, privacy and data security, based in San Jose, San Francisco, CA, or Seattle, WA, reporting to the Acrobat legal lead.

You will help advance business objectives while managing legal and brand risk. You will collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing and other Legal colleagues to review products, advise on strategy, and negotiate IP licenses

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and necessary bar membership.
• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience in software/online services industry.
• Proficient at negotiating and drafting IP agreements including licenses, development agreements, online services terms of use.
• Familiarity with privacy and data security issues, privacy-by-design preferred.
• Prior experience with user-generated content services and mobile app development preferred.
• Technical background or strong interest in software products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with GenAI-focused product evaluation and risk assessment.
• Support and build relationships with product development teams.
• Advise on compliance for products, strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinate with privacy, antitrust and IP attorneys in Legal Department.
• Develop and deliver trainings to engineering, PM and sales-legal groups.
• Draft and negotiate technology licensing and partnering agreements.
