Job summary

Adobe seeks a hardworking, inquisitive attorney to provide exceptional legal support to the Customer Experience Orchestration business and Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker. The role focuses on counseling on AI/GenAI/agentic AI technologies and will partner with multiple stakeholders across product and engineering in a fast-paced environment.

Based in the United States, locations include New York, Lehi, San Francisco, or San Jose.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and necessary bar membership.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with, and curiosity about, privacy. CIPP/US and/or AIGP certification a plus.
• Intellectual curiosity and knowledge about emerging regulatory developments affecting AI.
• Proficient at drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business partners on the review of Adobe products, services, and initiatives to assess legal compliance and provide practical advice.
• Support and build positive relationships with product development, product management, product marketing, and engineering teams while advising on legal and business issues through all stages of development and marketing, from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with legal team subject matters leads, including privacy, enterprise sales legal, AI ethics, and IP attorneys to analyze legal risks and support the business.
• Draft, negotiate, and support a wide variety of agreements, including inbound and outbound technology licenses, product documentation, and partnership agreements.
• Develop and deliver guidance and trainings to various internal groups, including engineering, program management, product, and sales legal.
• Work closely with management to ensure successful prioritization and understanding of the role.
