Job summary

Adobe Inc. seeks a senior privacy lawyer to shape privacy strategy for digital marketing products and AI initiatives. You will partner with Product Legal, Engineering, Security and Marketing to embed Privacy-By-Design across Adobe's CX Enterprise portfolio.

You will advise executives, lead privacy impact assessments, develop templates, and train teams while ensuring global compliance and a competitive privacy posture for Adobe's products and customers.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant privacy experience, including prior in-house or law firm experience.
• Strong interest in privacy law.
• Proven experience in the technical components of digital marketing products and technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Strategic problem solver with excellent legal and business judgment.
• A meticulous, business-friendly teammate who can think creatively.
• Strong understanding and experience with both domestic and international privacy requirements.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a great sense of humor and dedication to integrity.
• Experience working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Legal, Engineering, Product, Security, and Marketing teams to guide privacy-by-design strategies for digital marketing products and technologies.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders to help make privacy a competitive differentiator for Adobe.
• Develop, apply, and evaluate privacy impact assessments for Adobe products and technologies, including new AI initiatives; lead projects to simplify the privacy assessment process.
• Support Sales Legal and other legal teams on privacy negotiations with customers, partners, and vendors; provide training, develop privacy templates and playbooks, and lead efforts to simplify privacy negotiations.
• Be a privacy brand ambassador on enterprise customer calls and in meetings with external collaborators.
• Be a privacy evangelist inside Adobe to grow the culture of privacy (conduct trainings, participate in product strategy sessions).
• Assist with evaluating and implementing global self-regulatory and digital marketing requirements (e.g., NAI, DAA).
