The successful candidate will have a J.D., 5+ years of experience, and strong communication skills to advise leadership across multiple levels.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with, and curiosity about, privacy. CIPP/US and/or AIGP certification a plus.
• Knowledge about emerging regulatory developments affecting AI.
• Proficient at drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to provide practical legal advice to business management at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business partners on review of products, services, and initiatives for legal compliance.
• Advise product development, marketing, engineering through all stages from concept to launch.
• Analyze legal risks with privacy, IP, and enterprise teams to support the business.
• Draft, negotiate, and support a wide range of agreements, including licenses and partnerships.
• Deliver guidance and trainings to internal groups; prioritize with management.
