Basecamp Research in Boston, USA is seeking a highly capable Product Lead for Peptide Therapeutics. You will own the peptide platform as a commercial product, perform market analysis, define target product profiles, and shape licensing/partnership strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Market and competitive intelligence.
• Build and maintain a rigorous view of the peptide therapeutics landscape by segment, indication and modality, including approved agents, late-stage pipelines, mechanism trends and delivery technologies.
• Track and interpret competitor activity across AI-enabled discovery platforms, peptide-focused biotechs, display and screening technology providers, and internal pharmaceutical capability, translating it into roadmap/pricing implications.
• Maintain a live map of deal structures, comparables and valuation benchmarks in platform licensing and co-development, advising on where our agreements should sit.
• Bring the outside in: run structured voice-of-customer work with pharmaceutical R&D leaders, and turn it into prioritised, written requirements.
• Author and defend target product profiles for internal peptide programmes, specifying load-bearing properties, desirable traits and evidence.
• Translate partner-supplied target product profiles into feasible research plans with scientific leadership, including honest assessments of platform capabilities today.
• Define stage gates and go/no-go criteria for peptide programmes, and make recommendations on when to stop.
• Decide which platform capabilities become licensable products and define sequencing to balance near-term revenue with durable differentiation.
• Own the peptide product roadmap end to end, align with model/data/science teams and manage scope.
• Define packaging and commercial models for offerings, including access arrangements, co-development structures and asset-level licensing.
• Specify data needs from partners to improve and turn collaboration offers into precise written requests.
• Build the peptide narrative and materials: capability maps, benchmark summaries, validation packages and competitive comparisons for senior scientists.
• Set and enforce the standard for external claims, ensuring accuracy and caveats across documents.
• Support business development through partner meetings, scientific exchanges, conferences and diligence processes.
