Basecamp Research is building frontier AI-driven therapeutics with a peptide/protein focus. The role owns the peptide and protein platform as a commercial product, defining market analysis, target profiles, go-to-market strategy, and pricing.

You will bridge model/science teams with business development to drive revenue and platform value. The candidate will lead market intelligence, define stage gates for programmes, and shape partner engagement while balancing near-term revenue with durable

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in pharma/biotech with peptide/protein experience in discovery, development, or business
• Proven ability to author target product profiles and commercial cases that senior stakeholders act on
• Experience closing commercial partnerships, licensing agreements or platform deals with pharma companies
• Excellent written English and ability to produce high-quality documents

Responsibilities

• Market and competitive intelligence across peptide/protein therapeutics landscape; advise on product roadmap implications
• Author and defend target product profiles for internal programmes and translate partner inputs into feasible research plans
• Decide which platform capabilities become licensable products and define the peptide roadmap end-to-end
• Engage with partners and support business development through meetings, diligence, and negotiations
