Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a Product Engineering Intern to support the U.S. headquarters in Jeannette, PA. You will participate in hands-on engineering tasks within the Product Engineering department, focusing on rotating equipment and cryogenic pump models.

Students will complete individual and team projects, gain exposure to leadership meetings, and shadow engineers to learn design practices, calculations, and data management in a fast-paced energy industry setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree, preferably junior year or higher.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics and design analysis.
• Proactive, hands-on learner able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FEA and geometric calculations to validate casing ratings and assembly standards.
• Standardize and automate design frameworks for mechanical support systems.
• Compile and analyze design data across cryogenic pump models to establish guidelines.

## Product Engineering InternApply: Jeannette, PA: Full time: Posted Today: R3970**Overview & Responsibilities****2027 Product Engineering Intern Overview** This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals in our U.S. global headquarters location in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive “hands-on\" experience in the Product Engineering department in the rotating equipment industry.At EEE, we design, build, refurbish and re-engineer products used by some of the largest companies in the world. EEE manufactures steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, cryogenic pumps and expanders, power recovery expanders and gas expanders for use in energy markets worldwide.**All internships will consist of the following elements:*** Individual projects to own and complete for real world hands-on experience;* Team project and activities designed to demonstrate cooperation;* Exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of EEE leadership including participation in company and customer meetings and job shadowing.**The Product Engineering Intern will lead the following projects:*** Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and geometric calculations to validate casing pressure ratings and mechanical assembly standards across core compressor lines.* Standardize and automate design frameworks for specialized mechanical support systems to streamline engineering workflows.* Compile and analyze design data across cryogenic pump models to establish centralized, standardized clearance guidelines.* Update engineering calculation tools, transmittals, and technical forms to integrate design corrections and operational lessons learned.**Preferred candidate**: Major in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering completing minimum of junior year of a Bachelor’s Degree. Full time students pursuing a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Master’s Degree are encouraged to apply.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
