Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a PMTC Product Engineer to own a mechanical product family end-to-end. You will bridge the NPI team, process, metrology, and product lines, driving ownership and timely completion of programs.

You’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with customers and R&D, and guide technical discussions while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in precision machining or precision mechanical component manufacturing in a product, quality, manufacturing or sustaining engineering role.
• Strong read of drawings with GD&T and measurement methods (CMM, optical, profilometry).
• Hands-on structured problem solving: 8D, RCCA, DMAIC, FMEA; comfortable with yield and SPC data in Excel/Power BI/Minitab/JMP.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and ability to drive issues to closure across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own product-family yield end to end, drive RCCA when needed, and monitor SPC on critical features.
• Lead NPI-to-production handoff and maturation of yield to target.
• Conform to drawing and GD&T standards from first article through sustaining production; drive CAR/CAPA to closure.
• Manage ER/waiver requests and provide DFM/inspectability feedback on drawings and revisions.
