Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Optical Sciences, or related field.
• 4-7 years in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Strong communicator who collaborates across functions with data-driven discussions.
• Ability to think critically and translate concepts into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Improve products, processes, and components to meet requirements and manufacturability.
• Work with production teams on NPI, installing new designs on the floor.
• Design and upgrade tooling using Siemens NX; transfer NPI tooling to production.
• Lead CAPA investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop assembly processes and documentation; support troubleshooting.
• Update optics product assembly/test procedures and drive improvements.
• Troubleshoot interferometer product issues and resolve production problems.
• Collaborate across functions on MRB, RMA, and process improvements.
