Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in precision machining, manufacturing engineering, or related fields.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with CAD software and 3D solid modeling.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Apply specialized machining expertise to develop new capabilities and support production.
• Research emerging precision machining technologies, tooling, and methods.
• Develop, optimize, and sustain precision machining processes achieving micron tolerances (milling/turning).
• Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions.
• Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input during new product development.
• Collaborate with R&D on design manufacturability of components and assemblies.
• Support transition and release of new products and processes to manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and drive improvements in quality and productivity.
• Lead cross-functional projects and maintain manufacturing documentation and procedures.
• Balance immediate production needs with long-term engineering objectives.
