Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol, seeks a Product Engineer – Mezzanine Connector Products in Valley Green, PA. You will own engineering support across the product lifecycle, interfacing with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure performance, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.

The role emphasizes NPI and development, sustaining engineering, supplier collaboration, and EOL activities. Travel about 10% domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Mechanical Engineer.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawing standards (ASME Y14.5).
• Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Responsibilities

• New Product Introduction (NPI) & development: support concept work, develop designs in 3D CAD, define validation plans, and assist prototype builds.
• Sustaining engineering & production support: address manufacturing, quality, and field issues with regular factory presence.
• Supplier interaction & obsolescence management: coordinate with suppliers on component issues and changes.
• End-of-Life (EOL) execution: assist with sunset planning and last-time-buy activities.
• General: ensure on-schedule delivery of lifecycle deliverables and collaboration across global teams.
