Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Development Engineer for its Mezzanine Products team in Etters, PA. You will spearhead concept generation, design, verification and qualification of high-speed connector solutions and interact with global customers to ensure requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with full lifecycle product development in connectors preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and GD&T (ASME Y14.5) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and develop connector solutions per roadmap.
• Define product requirements with customers and front-end teams.
• Lead design reviews and communicate technical results.
• Develop testing programs to verify design intent.
• Present concepts early and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Define product, application and packaging specifications.
• Plan verification and qualification tests.
• Coordinate with NPI and manufacturing to transition to production.
