Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Valley Green, PA. You will lead mechanical connector design, perform analyses, and support new business opportunities within a global cross-functional team.

The role focuses on mezzanine products, requiring collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure performance, manufacturability, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in 3D modeling using SolidWorks.
• General understanding of drawing standards ASME Y14.5.
• Knowledge of GD&T and component tooling DFM.
• Ability to communicate with global customers and teams.
• FEA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative product solutions.
• Review designs to meet performance and customer requirements.
• Use 3D CAD to develop derivative designs.
• Prepare samples for development studies and DOEs.
• Analyze designs using Finite Element Analysis.
• Collect and analyze data for design decisions.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and cost targets.
• Collaborate with suppliers to bring up new designs.
