Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Product Engineer to join the team in Valley Green, PA. The role focuses on derivative design, customer applications, verification, and qualification, serving as the key product engineering representative in the plant.

You will work on mezzanine connector products with a global, cross‑functional team, supporting manufacturing and quality issues, and interacting with customers while delivering technically

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in 3D modeling using SolidWorks.
• General understanding of drawing standards such as ASME Y14.5.
• General understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to communicate well with Global Customers and all levels of the organization including Management, Marketing, Sales, Process Engineering, Test Lab personnel, other Engineers (local and global).
• Ability to prioritize, work to meet objectives and to manage multiple activities/projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review product drawings and product tolerancing to ensure product performance requirements are met.
• Develop innovative product solutions.
• Utilize 3D CAD software to develop designs.
• Prepare samples for study.
• Collect, record, and analyze data.
• Develop and review product performance specifications.
• Provide suggestions during incident investigations.
• Advise on corrective actions.
• Work with manufacturing engineers to develop a cost‑effective and working production process.
• Ensure projects are completed on time.
• Ensure designs are cost effective.
