ProPublica, a nonprofit newsroom, is seeking a Product Engineer for Membership and Front-End to enhance reader-facing features, enrollment flows, and authentication experiences. You will collaborate across product, design, data analytics, and other engineers and agencies, shipping resilient code and building integrations with payments, CDP/CRM, and data infrastructure.

As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll contribute to the product roadmap, instrument user journeys with tracking, and help

Formación

• Three+ years of front-end development experience and system integrations.
• Experience with audience data platforms and analytics tools (Salesforce, GA, Parse.ly, Sailthru).
• Experience implementing a customer data platform in the last two years.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to document processes.

Responsabilidades

• Build reader-facing features to drive membership, donation flows, and authentication.
• Integrate backend and analytics services, payments, CDP and CRM connections.
• Instrument journeys with event tracking for data-driven decisions.
• Support A/B testing infrastructure and run experiments with stakeholders.
• Write front-end services and Wordpress VIP integrations.
• Ensure reader privacy and regulatory compliance with engineering leadership.
