Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Front End Software Engineer in Consumer Engineering for the Remote United States. You will join a team that builds the frontend experiences Redditors rely on to discover, join, and engage with content across millions of users.

This role collaborates with Product, Design, Data Science, ML, and other frontend engineers to ship reliable, low-latency features at scale. As part of Consumer Engineering, you will own architecture, drive end-to-end delivery, run experiments,

Qualifications

Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Familiarity with CSS and responsive design.
Interest in AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development workflows.

Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Product Architecture: Partner with PMs, designers, data scientists, and client engineers to translate needs into scalable frontend solutions.
End-to-End Delivery: Own the full software lifecycle for major frontend initiatives from design docs to deployment and observability.
Metrics & Experimentation-Led Engineering: Design, run and analyze A/B tests using analytics tools to drive data-based decisions.
API & System Performance: Build and maintain scalable APIs and optimize frontend performance for consumer UI.
Technical Rigor & Modern Tooling: Establish engineering best practices and improve developer workflows with modern tooling.
