Magna International in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Product Engineer to plan, lead, and coordinate mechanical design activities from concept to production testing. You will manage DFMEAs, DVPS, BOMs, and GD&T while directing a product design team with emphasis on actuators and related components.

The role requires initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within cross-functional teams at a leading automotive supplier.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, leads, and directs technical work related to product engineering activities.
• Coordinates engineering activities from concept through production testing.
• Maintains DFMEAs, DVPS, BOMs, drawings and tolerance stacks; supports design reviews.
