Magna International is looking for a Product Engineer to apply engineering principles to the design and development of product concepts and assemblies for Magna Exteriors. You will support the development and launch of new product programs across cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, hands-on CAD experience (CATIA/NX), GD&T proficiency, and strong analytical skills. Collaboration with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with automotive product development processes.
• Experience with CAD systems such as CATIA, NX, or equivalent engineering software.
• Understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFM principles.
• Knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Support full product development lifecycle from concept through launch.
• Provide engineering direction during design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and communicate design directions to improve cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Analyze design problems and develop engineering solutions.
• Coordinate prototype tooling development and builds.
• Support material selection and optimization during development and prototypes.
