Job summary
Duracell Power Center, a Duracell Authorized Licensee, seeks an experienced Product Engineer to own front-end features for our home energy storage products in San Jose, CA. You will translate requirements into technical specs, implement full-stack solutions, and drive product quality and user experience.
In this role you’ll collaborate with R&D, product design, and manufacturing to improve reliability and installation efficiency, while maintaining comprehensive documentation and supporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years shipping React + TypeScript products.
- Testing as a habit with vitest/jest and Testing Library.
- Solid API-integration instincts for data fetching and caching.
- Fluent use of AI coding tools to accelerate development.
- Self-directed—owns outcomes, not tickets.
Responsibilities
- Own the product surfaces: admin, installs, alarms UX, account/settings.
- Own front-end quality: keep typecheck/lint/test gates green and enforced; burn down type debt.
- Build the API-consumer side of new features against a clean one-hook-per-domain architecture.
- Two-way code review with the technical lead.
