Job summary

Duracell is seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to contribute to a new product and sensor platform in the FEI lab. You will perform board bring-up, hardware debug, electrical characterization, and small-batch prototype assembly to support development and field testing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in electronics tech; hands-on hardware experience.
• Strong bench skills and troubleshooting of PCBA and systems.
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs, layout files, and datasheets.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
• ESD safety discipline and data management practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform board bring-up of new PCBA designs, including power rail verification and functional validation.
• Debug hardware issues at board and system level using schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts.
• Characterize PCBA and host devices with power, signals, and ADC accuracy measurements.
• Prototype assembly and rework for SMT (0402+) and through-hole with microscope work.
• Set up test benches, calibrations, and data collection with traceable records.
• Provide regular updates on test progress, issues, and proposed steps.
