Flow is seeking a software engineer who blends backend strength with frontend, data, and infrastructure curiosity. You’ll work directly with operators, neighbors, and cross‑functional teams to turn operational friction into AI‑powered products.

The role emphasizes learning quickly, shipping high‑quality software, and driving value in real-world building environments. Onsite or in‑office work is required to collaborate effectively with teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of software engineering experience building products, platforms, or internal tools.
• Solid backend fundamentals with a generalist mindset across frontend, data, or infrastructure.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to unfamiliar areas.
• Product-engineering mindset focusing on end-user needs.
• Fluent with AI-native practices and using AI tools effectively.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to solve real workflow problems.
• Hands-on skills with Python, Go, TypeScript, and shell scripting.
• Experience with relational systems, vector databases, and graph databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication for clear documentation and prompts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software, workflows, and AI-enabled products.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing, leasing, and other teams to solve pain points.
• Move across the stack as needed to ship complete solutions.
• Lead experiments to validate ideas and measure impact.
• Embed with business functions to drive the company's goals.
• Own problems end-to-end from discovery to rollout.
• Document design decisions and explain tradeoffs clearly.
• Use AI coding assistants while maintaining quality and reliability.
