Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Product Director for Customer Engagement & Primacy to drive deposit portfolio strategy across Mass and Mass Affluent clients. You will translate insights into field, digital, product, marketing and customer experience actions to grow checking and savings penetration, direct deposit and overall relationship depth.

You will lead cross-functional teams to balance current performance with long-term, insight-led relationship development and ensure regulatory and risk compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, deposit strategy, consumer banking, customer strategy, portfolio management, digital engagement or a related discipline.
• Experience leading established consumer deposit or everyday banking portfolios.
• Experience developing strategies to increase deposit share of wallet, checking/savings penetration, primary banking relationships or total deposit sales.
• Experience creating differentiated customer strategies across Mass and Mass Affluent segments.
• Experience guiding field and digital engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategy to expand deposit share of wallet and relationship value across Mass and Mass Affluent customers.
• Develop view of balances, product penetration, account usage, money movement, engagement, primacy and external wallet opportunity.
• Identify and size opportunities across segments, markets, channels and relationship characteristics.
• Maintain prioritized portfolio agenda balancing total deposit sales, balance growth, relationship depth and long-term value.
• Translate analytics into portfolio priorities, customer treatments and channel actions.
• Increase everyday deposit share of wallet and primary banking relationships.
• Lead strategies across checking engagement, savings penetration, direct deposit, recurring transfers, account usage and deposit consolidation.
• Define roles of field and digital channels in expanding relationships and hitting targets.
• Coordinate with Retail leaders to translate opportunities into market priorities and sales strategies.
• Develop executive scorecard covering sales, balances, penetration, primacy, engagement and depth.
• Present portfolio trends, opportunities and risks to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and customer-experience requirements.
