Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Product Owner - Executive Director for the Controls Room to own strategy and delivery of the STEP application. You will enable 1LOD testing and 2LOD oversight, driving AI-enabled, agentic workflows with strong controls and human oversight.

You will lead discovery, shape a prioritized roadmap, and deliver iteratively with small teams, coaching the product group and aligning stakeholders across engineering, design, and compliance to lift efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and delivering products across full lifecycle (discovery, delivery, adoption, optimization).
• Hands-on AI-enabled capabilities in production (NLP, automation, decision support).
• Experience embedding agentic patterns/workflows with strong governance and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy for STEP and Controls Room capabilities.
• Lead customer discovery to translate needs into a prioritized roadmap.
• Lead AI enablement and integration with controls, ensuring responsible deployment.
• Deliver iteratively using agile practices with small teams to accelerate value.
• Coach STEP Product team on best practices and delivery methods.
• Partner with 1LOD/2LOD to reuse testing solutions and scale.
• Own and maintain product backlog with clear epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Establish success metrics and use data to drive prioritization and investment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evolve policies, processes, and tooling for adoption.
