Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a seasoned Product Owner – Executive Director for the Controls Room to own STEP product strategy and delivery. You will enable 1LOD testing and 2LOD oversight, improving test plan design, monitoring, and execution with AI and agentic workflows under strong governance.

You will lead discovery, define the roadmap, and drive adoption across engineering, UI/UX, data, and control testing teams, while balancing speed, scale, and risk in a complex, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and delivering a product across the full lifecycle.
• Hands-on AI-enabled capabilities in production (NLP, automation).
• Experience with agentic patterns in products emphasizing control and auditability.
• Proven ability to work iteratively in fast-paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy for STEP and related controls.
• Lead discovery to translate user needs into a roadmap.
• Lead AI enablement and integration strategy with governance.
• Deliver iteratively using agile practices and small teams.
• Coach STEP Product team on best practices and delivery.
• Partner across lines of defense to scale reusable solutions.
• Own and maintain product backlog and acceptance criteria.
• Establish success metrics and use data to guide decisions.
• Act as voice of the customer for policies and communications.
• Evaluate build vs partner vs defer decisions for AI capabilities.
• Support go-to-market, training, and post-launch adoption.
