Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive next generation bottle concepts from initiation through full production capability, collaborating with Customers, Sales, Design Engineers, Project Managers, R&D, Manufacturing, and Engineering Support groups to develop products that drive profitability and growth.

You will lead design reviews, DFMEA, and cost inputs, and develop a Technical Development Plan to respond to RFQs or create a Business Case.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in product development and manufacturing of bottles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-functional team through development from concept to commercial launch.
• Drive project plans to deliver on time, within budget, and within scope.
• Oversee product and tooling design, lead ideation, DFMEA, and design reviews.
• Coordinate Technical Development Plans for RFQs or business cases including costs.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters.
• Report deviations on time, cost, and deliverables to senior management.
• Adhere to Berry, industry, and regulatory procedures and ISO processes.
• Work with Quality to establish critical-to-quality metrics and validate process capability.
